Sheryl Wachtel is a native of Los Angeles. A mother and former TV Executive, she has been taking pictures since she could hold a camera. But it wasn’t until she gave birth to her two children that her passion became practical, and she evolved from taking pictures to taking portraits. Shooting her children taught her about the magic of capturing the unexpected. Her studies and early work focused on understanding how to reveal the subjects essence at just the right moment – the secret of an ideal portrait.
Her ease with others gives her a special ability to portray the innocence of a child, the joy of a family, the spark of lovers, and the mystery of pregnancy in a beautiful and natural way that can make one moment last forever.
SW Photography specializes in private sittings and portraits, and also is active in shooting children’s parties, wedding receptions, school photos, actors’ headshots and corporate photos. |
